Commenting on SANAD’s awareness campaign, touch Chief Executive Officer Emre Gurkan said, “Our Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility (CSSR) program, Positive touch, is grounded in an aim to improve the quality of human life. SANAD’s noble cause reminds us that every minute in a human being’s life is valuable and ought to be given dignity.”
As for Lubna Izziddin, President of SANAD, she said, ‘Touch's support for hospice and palliative care is an exemplary testimony of their belief in preserving the dignity and quality of life for terminally ill patients in Lebanon as a human right.
SANAD's mission in providing medical, psychological and social support for terminally ill patients and their families, could not have been sustained if it weren't for such gracious efforts by the likes of touch, one of the leading Telecommunications companies in the region.
SANAD is grateful and humbled by the efforts of touch to promote its cause as it signifies a wider acceptance and understanding of home hospice and palliative care in Lebanon.”
