Beirut, July 13th, 2015: touch, the leading mobile telecommunications and data operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain group, the pioneering mobile and data services operator in the Middle East and Africa, shared the joy of the holy month of Ramadan with SOS Children’s Villages.

 

touch gathered a hundred and seventy children from SOS Children’s Villages in the South, Bekaa, Mount Lebanon and the North, between the ages of five and thirteen, to spend a full day of entertainment and learning at KidzMondo. The children enjoyed playing and competing with one another within the wonderful halls of the Center and were introduced to many professions and other educational games.

 

Commenting on this exceptional event, Chief – Executive Leadership Team of touch Peter Kaliaropoulos said: "At touch we are keen on maintaining our partnership with the local community and we are working through Positive touch, our corporate social responsibility platform, on the support of humanitarian, social and cultural issues. This program is a fundamental aspect of our aspiration to achieve a positive touch in the Lebanese community.” 

 

Through this initiative, touch’s objective was to bring SOS Children’s Villages from all over Lebanon together so that the children can share their laughs and joy. The day ended with an Iftar feast that gathered the immensely content children and touch family.
