Beirut, January 5, 2016: touch, the leading mobile telecommunications and data operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain group, the pioneering mobile and data services operator in the Middle East and Africa, sealed another year by celebrating with its customers. Through its end of year festivities, touch embraced its accomplishments, showed its gratitude and paid its respect to the many individuals who made it all possible.
The customer remains a source of inspiration for touch and a focal point that drives all of its strategies, services and products. Since its foundation, the company has exerted all its energies to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. In 2015 touch took this commitment to newer heights, with many services, bundles and initiatives created especially for the community and its wellbeing. In fact, touch happens to be the very first telecom operator in Lebanon to welcome and rejoice the New Year with its customers.
To greet 2016 on a positive note, touch celebrated the holidays with its customers through a series of activations. It hosted a lunch at Indigo on the Roof, Le Gray Hotel in Beirut, to honor some of its first customers, acknowledging their relationship with the brand and their contribution to bringing some of their services to light. Each was given a beautiful crystal trophy engraved with the category in which they were the earliest adopters.
Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport was another site of celebrations. A group of touch employees along with a musical parade, gathered at the arrival hall while performing a welcoming cheer, joyfully receiving the Lebanese expatriates and tourists who were arriving to Lebanon for the Christmas and end year holidays. The employees approached around 300 travelers that afternoon, distributing to each an envelope enclosed with a series of Lebanese Lira ranging from 1 LBP to 250 LBP.
Another celebration took place at touch’s service center headquarters, where employees surprised some walk-in customers with a Christmas cheer, also accompanied by a flash mob musical parade which animated the festivity. Special symbolic gifts were distributed to all customers. touch also channeled the festivities to its contact center where agents surprised 48 customers with a special touch gift that included a free data bundle for a whole month and other similar gestures.
The customer remains at the heart of touch’s every day triumphs as well as their end-of-year victories and celebrations.
